Blech
I am in pain. A couple of days ago I pulled a muscle in my neck, or strained it, and it's been terrible ever since ... I hate that I can't turn my head completely. I feel so incapacitated.

Tomorrow we are going to be meeting with a real estate agent/mortgage broker ... long story short, this is just an initial meeting. We have no expectations and honestly, we are not really in the position to seriously consider buying a house at this moment in time ... having said that, I suppose anything can happen ...

The last 3 weeks at work have been absolutely mad ...

I cannot wait to go to Vegas next weekend. We are leaving on Wednesday night and returning on Sunday. Relaxation is the only thing on the agenda. I am going to sit by the pool and soak up the sun, the margaritas : ) and love the fact that I'm not at work. So many of my clients are in crisis. Enough already. Enough.

so sorry to hear about your neck. i know i am a little late, but i have not read anyone's journals lately. i know how you feel. did you go to the doc's? muscle relaxers and a percocet are always helpful.

Tried the muscle relaxers and they weren't very effective in the long run ... in fact, my neck still hurts, just not as severely as before. To be honest, the most effective med was 600mg Advil every 4-6 hrs., which I consequently became dependent on, because it was the only thing that provided relief. When I went off the Advil, I had the worst headache for three days straight! (that was the night before Vegas) ... now I'm off all meds, just stretching, massaging, tiger balming, etc.

I read on WebMD that neck strains usually last up to two weeks and it's been 2 weeks and 1 day, but that they can last up to 4 weeks ... let's hope I'm at the end of the road. I don't like it at all.

Meds are whacked and I find that sometimes they make you worse off than you were before you started taking them; even the quote-un-quote non-addictive ones. Having said that, I do like my Nurofen and Propaine Plus ... I find them most helpful for my killer headaches.
